Our History
Since 1994 we have been producing Tenuta Simone Extra Virgin Olive Oil from Gargano, a superior quality Extra Virgin Olive Oil.
A Family Tradition since 1994
In 1994 the Simone family bought an Antica Masseria, in the Macchia plain, in the Gargano National Park.
A love story begins for your own land.
For almost 30 years we have been hosting visitors to our estate with hospitality and kindness.
The emotion and passion for our work has remained the same from the first day.
With the same Passion we produce Tenuta Simone Extra Virgin Olive Oil, a guarantee of quality and passion.
Our Tenuta Simone Extra Virgin Olive Oil from Gargano is a naturally cold extracted oil.
A few moments after harvesting, the olives are brought to the mill where they are immediately pressed.
In this way we are able to guarantee that the flavor and all the properties of the oil are preserved and arrive intact on your tables.
We cultivate Ogliarola Garganica, a native variety of the Gargano, in the north of Puglia.
Our 2 production lines
For the year 2021 we have planned the production of 2 lines:
TerraMadre
Intense oil, which does not compromise.
Our “TerraMadre” oil, coming from an early harvest of Ogliarola Garganica monocutivars, is naturally rich in polyphenols and antioxidants.
It is an oil with an intense taste with hints of fresh grass and wild rocket.
The Bitter and the Spicy are perfectly balanced.
Recommended for structured dishes, such as soups, minestrone, risotto, both in cooking and in addition to raw, of course.
TerraLuna
Medium Fruity Oil, for lovers of authentic tastes.
Our “TerraLuna” oil from Ogliarola Garganica monocultivar olives is a harmonious and elegant oil that is characterized by hints of grass and fresh almond.
Recommended for dressing salads, bruschetta, fish and white meats.
Choose between “TerraMadre” and “TerraLuna” to bring to the table the flavors and passion of our Tradition, of course.
Your holiday at Villa Simone
Choose to stay at Villa Simone, in spring, summer or during the harvest period, between October and November.
You will be able to attend the olive harvest and the production of our Extra Virgin Olive Oil from Gargano Tenuta Simone.
